Airforce Killed Boko Haram Commanders During Clash In Sambisa

The Nigerian Air Force had yesterday struck and killed Boko Haram commanders at their meeting venue in Boboshe located at the border side of Sambisa Forest.

A statement by the NAF’s spokesman, Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola, said the attack carried out by its Air Task Force of Operation Lafiya Dole was conducted on October 13 following successive days of Surveillance and Reconnaissance missions, coupled with Human Intelligence reports

 

He said the strike took place after the intelligence which confirmed that a particular building within the settlement was being used as a meeting point by the terrorists were the commanders assemble to take instructions before launching attacks against troops and innocent civilians.
