Residents of Lagos were thrown into confusion on Monday as rainstorm destroyed properties (including cars). Road users also had hectic time as a result of the massive rain this morning.
The rain was meant to be a welcome respite from the heat which had left many complaining, but it left residents with a different set of worries to deal with.
Trees on some major streets gave way to the wind and streets light stands couldn’t withstand the storm.
Hours after the rains subsided, the gridlock on most major roads is unrelenting.
