The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has advised candidates scheduled to take the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in the 24 delisted centres to print their notification slips for new examination time and date.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by JAMB’s head of public affairs and protocol, Dr Fabian Benjamin.
The statement read, “Candidates scheduled to take the examination in delisted centres can proceed to print their examination notification slips from June 2020 for their new schedule dates and time,” adding that, “This applies only to centres delisted.”
The board had delisted 24 Computer Based Test (CBT) Centres across the country following their poor performance at the kick-off of the 2021 UTME exercise on Saturday.
This newspaper had reported on Sunday the announcement of JAMB delisting 25 UTME Centres nationwide. JAMB later said 24 and not 25 UTME Centres were delisted as earlier announced by the board.
The statement further read, “Correction with an apology. The centres are actually 24, not 25. The inclusion of Plateau State University, Bokkos, is regrettable.”
The board also disclosed that 40 other CBT centres scheduled to hold the 2021 UTME are currently on their watch list.
