Following the bail application hearing of Borno South Senator, Ali Ndume on Thursday over his suretyship for the former Chairman of Pension Reform Task Team (PRTT), Abdulrasheed Maina who was adjudged to have jumped bail, the Federal High Court in Abuja has fixed Friday for the ruling on Ndume's bail application. The presiding judge, Justice Okon Abang adjourned the ruling after the Senator's lawyer, Marcel Oru argued the bail application was opposed by the legal counsel of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Ndume was remanded in the Kuje Correctional Centre, Abuja on Monday pending he paid the sum of N500 million bail bond to the Federation Account or produced Maina before the court.
