Following the allegation raised by a former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Obadiah Mailafiya, that “a Northern Governor is the commander of Boko Haram”, the Department of States Services (DSS) has invited him to come and explain further. Mailafiya is expected to be at the DSS Jos office this afternoon, Wednesday 12th August 2020.

The former CBN Deputy Governor made this allegation during his interview with Abuja radio station 95.1FM, on Monday. He also stated that the insurgents are planning to start a civil war in Nigeria by 2022.

Milafiya said that part of the plot was to eliminate prominent Nigerians in their homes in urban cities. According to him, this would happen after those living in rural areas must have been wiped out by the terrorist.

Mailafiya accused the government of President Buhari of being culpable in the southern Kaduna Killing for failing to take appropriate action. He said, “the body language of this administration shows clearly that they have a hand in the killings, no doubt about it’.
