H-Money: EFCC Arrests Two Deputy Controller Of Nigerian Correctional Service

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arrested two Deputy Controller of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCS) Emmanuel Oluwaniyi and Hemeson Edson Edwin for presenting exaggerated medical reports over Hope Olusegun Aroke.

Malaysia-based Nigerian undergraduate fraudsters Hope Olusegun Aroke popularly known as H-Money who was arrested in 2012 by the EFCC and currently serving a 12 year jail time was said to have recently masterminded a mega scam to the tune of $1m.

After several investigations by the commission, it was reported that Mr Emmanuel and Mr Edwin who are Deputy Controllers in charge of Kirikiri prison medical facility presented an exaggerated medical report that warranted jailed internet fraudster, Hope Olusegun Aroke, to be given a referral to be treated outside the facility.

According to the commission, Both Oluwaniyi and Edwin have given useful information to the Commission about their alleged involvement in the crime.
