Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State has refuted reports that Gorilla swallowed N6.8 million from Kano zoo. He made the disclosure while addressing State House correspondents after a closed-door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Tuesday.
Ganduje said there was no gorilla in the zoo and that preliminary investigation has revealed that the missing money in the zoo was a case of armed robbery.
Commenting on the crisis between the state government and Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Lamido Sanusi II, Ganduje disclosed that discussions were still ongoing to resolve the impasse.
