Nigeria Records Six Deaths, 670 New COVID-19 Cases

Update from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), shows about six persons have died in the last 24 hours following complications from the COVID-19 disease, with 670 fresh cases. The health agency, while making the announcement on Tuesday morning, revealed that the new cases were recorded in 10 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The 670 new cases were recorded from 11 States – Lagos (277), Kaduna (199), FCT (120), Kwara (20), Abia (14), Rivers (11), Gombe (9), Katsina (9), Bauchi (6), Edo (3) and Cross River (2).

This now brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 244,120 with 216,180 recoveries. While those of the fatalities stands at 3,045.
