Coronavirus: Situation Getting Out Of Hand Globally – WHO Laments

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has revealed yesterday that the pandemic coronavirus situation worldwide is worsening, warning authorities of complacency.

 

The WHO lamented that it has recorded its highest daily tally of the new infection, with the killer virus being ruthless in America.

Amidst the racial protest that was staged by the American people, the United Nations’ health agency has warned the American nationals to do so while observing caution.

The Agency stated that the killer virus has consumed over 403,000 people globally out of the seven million tested persons since the outbreak of the disease in China last December.

East Asia is the epicentre of the COVID-19 has been overtaken by the Americas.

Mr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the WHO Director-General disclosed this in a conference in Geneva.

He added, “More than 100,000 cases have been reported on nine of the past 10 days.

Yesterday, more than 136,000 cases were reported — the most in a single day so far.
