Nonagenarian COVID-19 Patient Discharged In Lagos

A 98 years old woman has recovered from the novel coronavirus after being treated in one of Lagos state facilities. Babajide Sanwo-Olu disclosed on Wednesday 13th May 2020 that the nonagenarian was discharged alongside 25 others patients who had previously tested positive to the deadly coronavirus in Lagos state.

Giving the breakdown of the discharged patients, the Lagos State Ministry of Health said some patients were discharged from the Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, while others were discharged from two other isolation and treatment centres in the state. With this present 26 recovered patients, 13 females including the 98 years old and 13 males COVID-19 patients the numbers of patients who have been discharged in Lagos has risen to 528.
