Government Opens New Isolation Centers As 7 Patients Recovered From COVID-19 In Abuja

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Muhammed Bello disclosed in a statement made on 7th April 2020 that seven out of the 48 cases in Abuja has tested negative twice to the coronavirus after treatment.

The FCT has been the second worst-hit country of the pandemic COVID -19 has recorded seven recoveries as treatment is ongoing. This success story may not be unconnected from the new isolation centres newly opened in the FCT. According to the Minister, the facility can accommodate at least 500-bed space

Minister said authorities in the Nation's capital are not sparing any resources 'at our disposal in ensuring effective containment of the virus, and also in protecting the welfare of our people".


As the Federal Government scales up efforts to curtail the spread of the pandemic COVID-19, more isolation centres are opened across states especially in most hit states.
