Son of Nigeria's former Vice President and Presidential aspirant in the 2019 general elections, Atiku Abubakar has tested positive to Coronavirus. The former Vice President made this disclosure through his official verified Twitter handle on Sunday.
He said, "My son has tested positive for Coronavirus. @NCDCGov has been duly informed and he has been moved to Gwagwalada Specialist Teaching Hospital in Abuja for treatment and management. I will appreciate if you have him in your prayers. Stay safe, Coronavirus is real."
The recent development now brings the total no of COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to 30.
