President Donald Trump on Monday asked the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) to allow full implimentation of the new travel ban pending appeal. The new travel ban introduced by the Trump's administration is the third version. This version places varying levels of restrictions on foreign nationals from eight countries. These countries include Yemen, Syria, Chad, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Venezuela and Somalia.

A Distric Court in Hawaii had blocked the travel ban in October before a three-judge panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals partially lifted that order on November 13, allowing the ban to go into effect except for foreign nationals who have "bona fide" relationships with people or entities in the United States.

According to CNN, the 9th Circuit panel is set to hear oral arguments on the case on December 6.
