Democrats have officially nominated Joe Biden as a presidential candidate to challenge President Donald Trump in the forthcoming November 3rd United States presidential election.

Biden who has been touted as the ideal candidate to lead the Democrats to victory was unveiled today with party elders like former presidents Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter and Colin Powell (a Republican), a new generation of politicians and voters in every state joining in an extraordinary, pandemic-cramped virtual convention.

The 77-year-old Democrats on his official nomination vowed that his election would repair a pandemic-battered America and put an end to the chaos that has defined Republican President Donald Trump’s administration.

Biden celebrated his new status as the Democratic nominee alongside his wife and grandchildren in a Delaware school library; Thanked the party for nominating him, more than three decades after his first unsuccessful run for the White House.

“Thank you very, very much from the bottom of my heart,” said Biden, who will deliver his acceptance speech on Thursday. “It means the world to me and my family.”
