United States Defence Secretary, James Mattis has said America still hopes to solve the North Korea crisis using diplomacy. After days of fiery rhetoric from both US and North Korea, Mr Mattis said the war would be "catastrophic" and that diplomacy was gaining results.

Police in Texas, United States arrested one Kayoni Sedekiya after he was caught sleeping at a crime scene. A statement by the Police revealed that the 20-year-old from Abilene was armed with a gun at his apartment complex early Friday when he argued with his roommate, whom he tied up as he demanded £60.

A Columbian man, Juan Carlos Garcia, has reportedly shot his wife and her secret lover dead after catching them having sex in his matrimonial home. The angry husband had suspected his wife Sandra Castellanos, 39, was having an affair while he worked nightshifts as a security guard in Colombia. The husband returned home suddenly after he left for work at 9pm and reportedly shot the lovers dead with a handgun on Friday while their three children slept in another room.

U.S. To Join Climate Talks

The White House formally notified the United Nations on Friday that it intends to abandon the Paris agreement on climate change but remains open to “re-engaging” on the accord. The United States will participate in United Nations climate negotiations later this year despite its planned withdrawal, according to the administration’s statement of intent.

Ballistic Missile

The United States military on Wednesday, conducted a test of an unarmed intercontinental ballistic missile, in a move described as a warning to both North Korea, which recently tested its missile arsenal, and in China, which has been urged by the Trump administration to pressure North Korea on its nuclear program.
