The Central Intelligence Agency on Wednesday released a vast archive of documents and video seized in the 2011 US raid on a compound in Pakistan that killed Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden. Researchers from a Washington think tank who had prior access to the newly declassified dossier say it includes Bin Laden's son's wedding video and diaries left by the Saudi-born militant.

An Uzbek immigrant accused of killing eight people in New York City by driving a rental truck down a riverfront bike path on Tuesday appeared to have acted alone, but the Halloween Day attack had all the hallmarks of terrorism, authorities said.

A Brazilian, Cleber Rene Rizerio Rocha, whose arrest led US authorities to discover $17 million hidden under a mattress pleaded guilty on Thursday to charges that he tried to launder funds tied to one of the largest pyramid schemes ever recorded, according to Reuters reports. Reuters reports that prosecutors said the suspect tried to launder money out of the US that a co-founder of TelexFree Inc had left behind when he fled the country.
