The United States Navy has stopped the search and rescue operation earlier authorized to find three sailors who had been declared missing after their plane crashed into the Philippine Sea on Wednesday. The US Navy made this known on Friday in a statement issued by Rear Adm. Marc Dalton, Commander, Task Force 70.
US Warns Citizens Against Travelling To Saudi Arabia
The United States government has warned its citizen not to travel to Saudi Arabia following persistent terrorist threats and a spillover of violence from Yemen across the border. The warning was contained in a statement released on Tuesday by the US State Department. It warned that rebel groups from Yemen were planning to launch ballistic missiles into the Kingdom.
Obama Tackles Trump Over Move On Illegal Immigrant
Former US President, Barack Obama has labelled President Donald Trump Tuesday as “cruel” for his decision to rescind Mr. Obama’s deportation amnesty program for young illegal immigrants.
In a statement, Obama said: “To target these young people is wrong – because they have done nothing wrong. It is self-defeating – because they want to start new businesses, staff our labs, serve in our military, and otherwise contribute to the country we love. And it is cruel.”
Throwing himself into the political arena to the greatest degree since leaving office in January, Obama said Mr. Trump’s action was unnecessary from a legal standpoint.
Donald Trump Seeks Full Implimentation Of New Travel Ban
President Donald Trump on Monday asked the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) to allow full implimentation of the new travel ban pending appeal. The new travel ban introduced by the Trump's administration is the third version. This version places varying levels of restrictions on foreign nationals from eight countries. These countries include Yemen, Syria, Chad, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Venezuela and Somalia.
