2021: Australia, China And Several Others Celebrate New Year In Style

Parts of the world have begun ushering in the New Year while Nigeria eagerly awaits 2021. As at the time of reporting, Countries in the Oceania and Asian time zone have marked the start of 2021, with millions around the world celebrating the New Year at home because of COVID-19 pandemic that has ravaged 2020.

2020 has seen over 2 million people die mostly from the pandemic which is responsible for not less than 1.7 million death. With the fresh spread of the new wave of infections, curfew has been placed in several cities so as to curb the continuous spread of the virus, however, cities like Taiwan, China, Japan and Austria have used fireworks show to usher in their citizens to the start of the new decade.
