North Korea has on Thursday fired two unidentified projectiles from an eastern province into the sea off its coast, making it the first launch in nearly one month, South Korea's military said. Japan's coast guard disclosed that it detected the launch by North Korea, adding that the projectiles did not enter its air space or its Exclusive Economic free zone.

The last launch by North Korea was on October 31, with the missiles landing between the Korean peninsula and Japan.

Jong-Un had earlier set an end-of-the-year deadline for denuclearization talks with Washington counterparts, however, no negotiations have taken place after an unprogressive October 5th meeting between North Korea and United States.
