Storm Eunice Threatens Wales, Warning Upgraded To Red
A severe weather warning has been upgraded to red, the highest level, for parts of south-west England and the south Wales on Friday. The Met Office warned that Storm Eunice could bring winds of up to 70mph inland and 100mph around the Welsh coast, causing significant disruption and danger to life from flying debris. The Met Office had earlier issued an amber warning for most of England and all of Wales because of fierce winds that could result in ‘flying debris and a danger to life’. That has now been upgraded to red, the highest category, for Wales and the South West.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has on Thursday ordered a decree declaring general mobilization in Ukraine against the Russian military in the country, banning all male citizens of age18-60 from leaving the country. In a declaration signed by president Zelensky, following the attacks by Russia said male citizens between the age of 18 and 60 are forbidden from leaving the country. "In particular, it is forbidden for men aged 18-60, Ukraine citizens, to leave the borders of Ukraine," the statement said.
