Moscow Terrorist Attack: France Raises Security Alert

France raises security alert to its highest level on Sunday following the recent deadly terrorist attack that occurred on Friday at a concert hall in Moscow, the capital of Russia, where over 137 people were killed and 140 injured in the attack by the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group who have claimed responsibility. This development was made known in a post on X( (formerly known as Twitter) from the official page of the Prime Minister of France, Gabriel Attal.

More Than 100 Killed In Moscow Attack, ISIS Claims Responsibility

At least 100 persons have been reportedly killed after Camouflage-clad gunmen opened fire with automatic weapons at concertgoers on the outskirts of Moscow on Friday. According to reports, this is one of the deadliest attacks in Russia since the 2004 Beslan school siege when gunmen sprayed civilians with bullets just before Soviet-era rock group "Picnic" was to perform at around 8 pm local time. Following a series of verified videos on media spaces, people can be seen taking their seats in the hall, then rushing for the exits as repeated gunfire echoed above screams.
