Arab Moi Burial: Osinbajo Jets Out To Kenya This Evening

The Nigerian Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo is set to jet out to Nairobi, the Capital city of Kenya today 10th February to attend the burial of former President Daniel Arab Moi of Kenya.

 

This was released this night in a statement by, Laolu Akande, the Vice president Media aid, saying Osinbajo will represent president Buhari at the event.

President Buhari is still busy at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia attending the 33rd African Union Summit.

Moi was the President of Kenya from 1978 to 2002 making him the longest-serving president of the Country; he died on 4th February 2020 at the age of 95years old.

Osinbajo will be joining other African Presidents and world leaders who are expected to grace the occasion scheduled to hold at the Nyayo National stadium located in Nairobi, the Capital city.

Akande revealed the Vice President is expected to be accompanied by top government functionaries to Nairobi this night and expected to come back to Nigeria later in the evening tomorrow 11th February, 200.
