Kenya Election: Kenyatta Re-Elected In Disputed Poll

Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta has been declared the winner of a controversial re-run of the presidential election.

In a protest dubbed “Black Monday” about high number of farm murders in a South Africa, a convoy of cars are protesting on motorways in Cape Town and Johannesburg.

Campaigners have urged people to wear black to show their outrage at the spate of farm killings, especially after the death of a white farmer in Klapmuts near Stellenbosch.

Two white farmers in South Africa who forced a black man into a coffin have been sentenced to jail for more than 10 years each.

Theo Martins Jackson and Willem Oosthuizen were convicted in August for attempted murder and kidnapping.

The full results of Kenya's presidential election rerun are expected to be released Monday, according to the country's voting authority, capping off months of drama and sporadic violence surrounding voting that has highlighted ongoing discord in the country.

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) said in a tweet Sunday that an announcement would come Monday.
