The Luggage of popular Nigerian singer, performer and songwriter, Tiwatope Savage-Balogun, better known by her stage name Tiwa Savage was on Tuesday stolen at the Akwa Ibom Airport, Uyo. The mother of one who called out airport authorities immediately she touched down and discovered that her belongings were missing, described security situation at the airport as appalling stressing that the situation could have been exploited by terrorist elements to carry out attacks.
Some of her posts read;
"So our plane lands and we are still on the runway. Someone opens the cargo hold and steals our luggage. Pilot said he saw the cargo hold light come on. How is this possible?
How is this safe? FAAN this means anyone including terrorists can have access to planes. Someone can just walk on a runway and steal lugage from a plane. That could have been a bomb someone would just put in there" she added.
