Popular Nollywood actor, Sadiq Daba has been flown to the United Kingdom for urgent medical attention. The Veteran actor has been battling prostate cancer and cancer of the blood for some months now. Months back, some of his associates called on spirited individuals to make donations to assist his family in providing the needed medical care.
Few days ago, the Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Sen. Dino Melaye visited the ailing actor and donated the sum of N1m. Hours after his departure, Daba took to his social media handle to thank Sen. Melaye for his kind gesture. Dino later shared the message on his handles.
Meanwhile, Daba has since been received in the UK by his longtime friend, Azuka Jebose. Jebose who confirmed his arrival on his Facebook relayed his telephone conversation with Daba upon his arrival. He wrote
‘Azuka. I say make I call you. I don reach London. I dey inside the hotel. Ol boy its cold o. I nor go lie. Dis kain cold pass Nigeria own o. I nor go comot for the hotel until my 2 p.m appointment to see the doctor’.
