Nigerian singer and songwriter, Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, popularly known as Kizz Daniel, has been announced to be one of the musicians who will be performing live at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar come 23rd November 2022. This is coming months after the singer had earlier wished God grants him the opportunity to perform his hit track 'Buga' in the coming World Cup. He wrote, “This one is for Africa This one is for Vado Nation SEE YOU IN QATAR WORLD CUP 23/11/ 2022 Cc @fifaworldcup #BUGA #COUGH” “When you have a dream, you’ve got to grab it and never let go. Let’s all dream together at the FIFA Fan Festival in Doha and make it a once-in-a-lifetime experience!” Kizz Daniel said of the global stage offered him.
FIFA confirmed the above today via its verified Instagram page, where it shared a poster of performers with the caption, Some HUGE names.
His performance at the World Cup is scheduled for November 23, in a live-stage concert tagged “FIFA FAN FESTIVAL LIVE STAGE”. Other music artists scheduled for performance are Diplo, Nora Fatehi, Trinidad Cordona, and Calvis Harris.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup which is the 22nd edition of the competition will be played from November 20 to December 18 in Qatar.
