Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has lamented after, Havoc Entertainment, a show promoter allegedly dumped him in a hotel room in Italy after enjoying his show. The celebrity disclosed on his Instagram page that he had a deal with a show promoter who made him travel to Italy, however, upon arrival, the promoter refused to keep to his part of the bargain by refusing to pay Davido his money after selling thousands of tickets.
Davido lamented that it was unfair for the promoter to treat him in that way after struggling to arrive at the venue as promised, saying, the promoter take his, “craft and hard work for granted.”
While lamenting He said, “We overwork our bodies, blood sweat, and tears daily to keep up and deliver these shows for our fans, only for people to take our craft and hard work for granted,”
He disclosed “I fly private 90 percent of the time but due to logistic issues we couldn’t get a landing permit on time.
The singer revealed he had to take three connecting flights to get to Italy only for the promoter to treat him unfairly.
He said, “He has sold thousands of tickets but doesn’t want to pay me! Normally it’s no balance, no show.
“I’ve been at the hotel for the past four hours waiting for either cash or a wire…still nothing!”
Describing the promoter, Havoc entertainment, as fraud, Davido said how someone can sell about seven thousand tickets for his show and could not receive a dime.
He explained that “I know how many people used their last to see me! So because of that I will do the show!!,”
