Loved by both young and old fans of the Southwest region and the Country in general, Fasasi Olabankewin, popularly known as Dagunro, a veteran actor in the Yoruba movie industry is dead. From the information available, the actor had been dealing with an undisclosed ailment in the last few years.
Ademola Adedokun, Secretary of the Osun State chapter of Theater Arts and Motion Picture Producers Association of Nigeria confirmed his death.
He affirmed that Dagunro died in Lagos after battling an undisclosed illness.
Adedokun added that Olabankewin will be buried in Osogbo later in the day.
