The esteemed Soundcity MVP Awards Festival has released its official list of nominees for the 2017 edition scheduled to take place on January 12, 2018, at the Eko Hotels Convention Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The nomination witness the OBO boss Davido, as lead with 7 nominations and Eric Many front line act, while Runtown, follow with 4 nominations including Best Male MVP, Best Collaboration, Song of the year and Viewers choice award.
Other acts nominated include Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, Davido, AKA, Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade and others.
The winners are chosen by viewers and fans by visiting #TheMVPs' website and a select committee of the industry stakeholder.
The soundcity MVP awards has recognized plagues of musicians and performers across Africa since 2007 in its annual award festival.
