The Royal Albert Hall, London’s iconic concert centre, has hailed Nigeria’s pop sensation, Wizkid, for headlining the Hall’s first afrobeat concert in a sold-out out show last Friday.

The landmark concert packed the Hall with some 5,000+ of Wizkid’s biggest fans, for two stunning hours of electrifying music from the Nigerian star’s bulging catalogue of hits.

The show also featured Nigerian born UK rappers, Joseph Junior Adenuga, Skepta and Patrick Chukwuemeka Okogwu, Tinie Tempah.

The performance by Ayodeji Balogun, Wizkid, has seen him become the first African artist to sell out the famed hall as his tickets were sold out two days before the show.
