One of the alumni of the reality show Big Brother Naija Patrick Fakoya, also known as Rico Swavey has given up the ghost after involving in an auto crash in the early hours of 11th October 2022. It was gathered that the 29 years old actor has been on life support since his involvement in the car accident. Recall that one of his colleagues, Alex Asogwa had called for prayers, noting that Rico was in a critical stage as the doctors are battling to save his life. However, a statement on his Twitter page called for support and donations to upset his medical bills. The statement was signed by his management and it reads "Hello everyone, Rico Swavey is not disposed to handle his socials right now as he was involved in a ghastly accident and is currently on life support.”While his situation is critical and doctors are on him, We implore your support and prayers.”.
Following his passing, so many tributes from friends and fans have started rolling in. Belle Okagbue one of the finalists in the just concluded Level up edition of the BBN show has shared her condolence via her Twitter handle made a post "Word have failed me, I don't know how to react to this but I know you're in a better place. I pray God gives your family the strength in this time. God bless your soul Rico swavey, rest in peace" she wrote.
