Nigeria artiste, Oluwatobiloba Daniel, aka Kizz Daniel has been arrested in Tanzania, following his inability to perform at a concert after allegedly being paid about $5,000. It was said that fans of the singer who had to assemble at the venue of the said show in Tanzania were left devastated after he failed to show up. As part of Daniel's Afro Classic World tour, he was scheduled to perform at the Warehouse, Old Nextdoor Arena in Tanzania, on the night of 7th August 2022. following his absence at the said concert, video of angry fans trashing the show's venue had trended earlier.
In a new video circulating online, the musician was spotted in a black hood is picked up and walking into a police van in the city of Dar-es-Salaam capital of Tanzania. It is said that he is being arrested for breach of contract and will be charged in court according to the country's law.
Recall that in June, he apologized to Tanzanians after he poorly handled a fan who presented him with flowers. His tour would see him perform in Tanzania, Rwanda, and Malawi.
While Kizz Daniel is yet to release an official statement regarding his arrest, it is said that this is one of his many unprofessional attitudes towards fans. A few weeks ago, he was at the top of the trend tables after he failed to show up on time for his DMV show on July 8.
The “Buga” crooner who was on his ten-city Afroclassic USA Tour was scheduled to perform in Silver Spring, Maryland, but however, came hours late performing for barely 30 minutes. The next day, he issued an apology to fans on his Instagram page and blamed the delay on the logistical challenge of his passport being withheld by the Nigerian consulate.
