Nigerians Pay Tribute As Tiwa Loses Dad

Fans and well-wishers have continued to pour in their condolences after Iconic Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage, announced the sudden death of her beloved father who she said passed on in the early hours of Monday, July 19. She wrote, “Early hours of this morning, you made a peaceful transition. You fought till the very end, you really fought daddy. It’s been rough for you these past couple of years but you are resting now. “This is tough on me, I’m so numb, so weak. Rest In Perfect Peace my King. I love you daddy. Savy t’eko, pappin K.” (sic). Among a few of her fans and well-wishers who flooded her page to commiserate with her is Adesua Etomi, she wrote “Sending you tons of Love.”

Toke Makinwa and many other celebrities also penned down their condolences.

Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo wrote, “Pls be strong. Daddy is in a better place.”

Popular comedian, Broda Shaggi, wrote, “Please stay strong Queen.”

Similarly, actor, Alex Ekubo, while consoling the singer, said, “Pls be strong. Daddy is in a better place.”

Afro-beats maestro, Seun Kuti, while trying to cheer the songstress up, said, “Wishing u all the strength and fortitude you need to bear this loss. Welcome to the club my sister.”
