AT&T's WarnerMedia has on Tuesday announced that it will be launching its streaming service, HBO Max on May 27, competing with other services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Disney+. The new streaming service will feature the company's original shows including Warner Bros., CNN, TBS, HBO, and even new episodes of Cartoon Network's 'Looney Tunes'.

The $15 a month is among the pricey streaming services out there, however, the complete catalogue of HBO shows, as well as movies and TV shows, will be available on the platform. This includes shows like 'Friends', 'Game of Thrones', 'Big Little Lies', and 'The Big Bang Theory'.

The new service is expected to reach between 75 and 90 million global paid users by 2025.
