British Actress Lashana Lynch is reportedly set to be the next 007 agent of the 25th James Bond film of the franchise, according to Daily Mail.
Lynch, 31, would be the first woman and coloured person to assume the iconic role of 007 which has been played by 9 different actors.
In 2018, there were speculations that Idris Elba would play the role.
Starring alongside Naomi Harries who plays Eve Moneypenny, the British actress would take over from James Bond ‘007’after his retirement, however, Daniel Craig who plays James Bond would be featured as he comes out of retirement to carry out one last mission though he is no longer 007.
The film would take off in Jamaica, where Bond retired to but M asks him to come back and it turns out his codename has been adopted by someone else.
Naomi Harries, Lynch starred in Marvel’s ‘Captain Marvel’ as Maria Rambeau, and ABC’s drama ‘Still Star-Crossed’.
