Singer Beyonce has sealed a partnership with sportswear manufacturers, Adidas to relaunch her Ivy Park Clothing line, Reuters reports. According to a press statement, Beyonce would be a creative partner to help design lifestyle products, footwear, and apparel.
Ivy Park is an athleisure clothing line, which was launched in 2016 by the singer and co-owner Phillip Green, owner of Topshop. However, Beyonce acquired full ownership, after Green was accused of sexual and racial harassment.
Beyonce explained the collaboration as an opportunity of a lifetime, as Adidas promotes outside the box creativity.
She said, "Adidas has had tremendous success in pushing creative boundaries. We share a philosophy that puts creativity, growth and social responsibility at the forefront of business. I look forward to re-launching and expanding Ivy Park on a truly global scale with a proven, dynamic leader."
