Chocolate City Partners With Warner Music Group

Nigerian music label, Chocolate City has signed a music partnership with American Multinational Entertainment Giant, Warner Music Group. Group Chief Executive Officer of Chocolate City, Audu Maikori made the disclosure in a statement yesterday.

 

He said the partnership is aimed at promoting African artists globally. Also, it would broaden opportunities for Chocolate City artists.
 Warner Music Group is one of the leading record label conglomerates, after Universal Music Group and Sony Entertainment. WMG has artists like Cardi B, Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Charlie Puth, David Guetta, Jason Derulo, Bebe Rhexa among others.

Speaking, Temi Adeniji, Director, International Strategy and Operations, WMG said will provide needed resources to in the African region and also aid in scouting new talents. The deal includes strategic, reciprocal marketing with WMG South Africa as well as invests in Chocolate City to further promote their creativity globally.

Chocolate City's M.I and Femi Kuti are expected to join WMG's repertoire to receive artist services support through ADA, an independent label service division.
