Popular Nigerian DJ, DJ Obi has called on Bakole Wellington popularly known as Banky W to shelve the political ambition he is nursing when the celebrity joined the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to aspire to be a House of Reps member. Banky W had on Friday declared that he has joined the main opposition PDP to pursue his ambition as he wishes to vie for the Eti-Osa constituency in the forthcoming general election.

His defection has met stiff criticism, especially from the entertainment industry accusing him of dining and winning with corrupt politicians.

However, others applauded his effort saying only when you join politics you can make an effective change you clamor for.

Responding to Banky W's message on Instagram, Dj Obi chided him that he should give way to serious-minded politicians to fill in the gap, especially those who can risk it all.

According to DJ obi, Banky W changes profession every now and then, who knows what he will decide by the next hour.

He said, “Anywhere breeze blow you dey there. Today pastor, tomorrow artist, next tomorrow politician. Next week deliverance ministry, next month new single is on the way. ABEG! We need real politicians.

“This is not a popularity contest. We are serious about our country, Nigeria is on the verge of getting on the path of greatness, we need solid men that are willing to lose it all for this nation to work and work well. The work ahead is not for the weak hearts No be now I go talk.
“This closet MF is still disg*sting. It will all play out and I won’t be silent, I will be part of that call-out ALL DAY! Na I just won start am, the rest will join in

Later with RECEIPTS!

“Politics Abi? Make we play am.”
