The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr Godwin Emefiele, has said that the unconventional monetary policies adopted by the apex bank in steering the country’s economy are yielding good results. He stated this on Friday during the 1st Convocation Lecture of the Edo University, Iyamho, entitled ‘Role of Monetary Policy:

Air Peace To Begins Johannesburg, Sharjah Route in June

Poised to dominate the African airspace and also compete with International airlines, Nigerian carrier, Air Peace, says it will begin flight operations to Johannesburg, South Africa and Sharjah, United Arab Emirates next month. The South African Government has granted a request for Air Peace to begin commercial flights to Johannesburg, South Africa. CBN Introduces Special Intervention Fund for MFBs

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has introduced a new special intervention fund for Microfinance banks (MFB) in Nigeria, seeking to increase the share of microcredit ratio to at least 20 percent by 2020.
