The National Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE) has suspended the strike action it embarked upon yesterday. The Union had declared strike on Wednesday, in the build-up to its 21 days ultimatum it gave to Federal Government.
Meanwhile, the Management of Kano Electricity Distribution Company Plc, KEDCO has promised it will put more energy in service delivery as the strike is over.
An agreement was met this morning between NUEE and the Federal government where they deliberated on all matters that lead to the suspension of the industrial action it commenced yesterday.
Accordingly, both parties were applauded by Nigerians for agreeing to restore energy, saying by these, it is proof they both have the country at heart.
Meanwhile, KEDCO wishes to inform the public and its numerous customers that all our staff have been instructed to offer to the services and ensures that all complaints are quickly attended to.
In its statement which partly reads, customers are to expect improved services across their area of operation following the suspension of the strike, saying this is in line with their determination to be customer-driven outfit where customers can now drive much satisfaction and value for their money, especially during this festive period.
