The Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Mrs. Zainab Ahmed, on Wednesday, said President Muhammadu Buhari would at the end of September present the 2020 budget proposal to the National Assembly.
She stated this at the High-Level Roundtable meeting on National Donor Coordination held in Abuja.
She said that the ministry was already preparing the 2020 budget stressing that before the end of the month, the president would lay it before the National Assembly.
“The 2020 budget preparation process is well underway, and we intend to finalize and submit the 2020 appropriation bill to the National Assembly by the end of this month.”
