The Federal Government has announced that the air service agreement with the Government of Cape Verde has been finalized. The Minister of Aviation, Sen. Hadi Sirika made the announcement at the first International Civil Aviation Organisation and the World Tourism Organisation Ministerial Conference in Sal Island, Cape Verde.
He said the Bilateral Air Service Agreement between the two countries is in conformance with a Project of the African Union (AU) Agenda 2063 designed to unify air transport market within the continent.
Following the agreement, Flights from Cape Verde to Nigeria and vice versa are set to commence as well as a Cape Verdean Embassy in Abuja.
